STEPHANIE BRAUN

 

STEPHANIE BRAUN is an educator and growing leader. She started her education career as a 2014 Teach for America Corps member in New York City, where she taught high school Science in the Bronx while earning her Masters in Adolescent Special Education at Hunter College. Stephanie then taught middle school math and science at Mirman School, acting as a teacher leader and mentor to other faculty members and writing and advocating for an inclusive curriculum throughout all disciplines. In 2022, Stephanie earned a Master's Degree at Columbia Teachers College in Private School Leadership. Currently, Stephanie is the Director of Middle School at Westmark School, an independent school in Encino, California, dedicated to serving students with language-based learning differences. Stephanie started her involvement with PHASE ONE since its founding, as a close friend of the Valner family. Stephanie's mother, grandmother, and aunt are cancer survivors and Stephanie is committed to continuing to support an organization doing incredible work to cure cancer.
