LISA WOODS

LISA WOODS is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of GroundSwell Group - a boutique marketing firm focused on customer acquisition. Through imaginative events, experiences, and campaigns, Groundswell Group creates custom consumer engagement and influencer marketing programs that connect people to brands across the globe and sets their clients apart as difference makers.

As COO, Lisa oversees all operations, domestically and internationally. She leads the management and execution of strategic alignments, targeted initiatives, and activations; fosters key partnerships; designs and implements business strategies, plans and procedures. As part of her role, Lisa also leads the company’s commitment to socially responsible marketing - bridging the gap between corporations and NPO’s.

Lisa has extensive experience in the non-profit sector. She is a co-founder of City Charter Schools, a two-school charter management organization serving a diverse population of Los Angeles students with a progressive, student-centered, and college-preparatory program. Lisa sat on the Board of Directors of City Charter Schools from its inception through 2016. Lisa is currently President of the Board of Directors at Your Golden Ticket, a non-profit organization that provides once-in-a-lifetime experiences to less fortunate and at-risk youth. She also sits on the Board of Directors for Chicago Teen Credit Union. In 2020, Lisa was honored as the LA Business Journal’s Community Impact Advocate of the Year.

A proud native of Chicago, Lisa currently resides in West Los Angeles with her husband and three children.
