PHASE ONE's Largest FACT Pickleball Social To Date Raises Over $275K for Clinical Cancer Research
On Saturday, November 16, 2024, PHASE ONE Foundation held its 4th Annual FACT for PHASE ONE Pickleball Social. This record-breaking event was the Foundation’s largest to date– bringing more players than ever before to Mulholland Tennis Club.
Together, the nearly 200 players, 150 spectators, and countless donors raised over $275K to help fund Phase I + II cancer clinical trials. PHASE ONE extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this year’s event such an extraordinary success.
DJ Wax Addict LA brought the vibes while attendees enjoyed burgers from Heavy Handed, pizza from Pizza Girl, salads from Hotel Erwin, an assortment of smoothies, treats, and eats from Mulholland Tennis Club, and a curated shopping experience from Booth Sponsors Rally Club, EltaMD, and UomoSport.
During a break in the tournament, FACT Chair, Mark Freeman, expressed gratitude to all participants for their contributions to advancing cancer care, sharing:

This year also set a record for the FACT Swag Bag, which included items valued at over $700! A special thank you to all the amazing brands and individuals who generously donated products to this cherished part of PHASE ONE's annual event.

For the past 25 years, PHASE ONE has been at the forefront of advancing clinical research. With 55 grants awarded across 27 cancer types, the Foundation’s efforts have resulted in five life-saving drugs on the market, and many more on the horizon.
The proceeds from FACT will provide further funding for pioneering research, paving the way for game-changing new treatments and improved outcomes.
