JULIE BLOCK

JULIE BLOCK is a seasoned costume designer in Hollywood having honed her skills on over 50 different productions throughout her career. As a Los Angeles native, Julie grew up in the San Fernando Valley and graduated from UCLA with a degree in Psychology. Julie has held a myriad of integral roles within numerous organizations including P.S.Arts, Planned Parenthood, Hollywood Food Coalition, and PHASE ONE. Five years ago, Julie’s middle daughter Charlotte was diagnosed with Synovial Cell Sarcoma. Watching her daughter’s relentless fight against all odds gave her hope in the fight for cancer. Julie is devoted to raising awareness and furthering the development of treatments to cure cancer.

Julie currently lives in Westwood. Her two eldest daughters attend Tulane and USC while her youngest is at Crossroads School. Her husband, Stephen, is the owner of Inner Gardens a nationally recognized landscape design firm.
