JULIE BLOCK

JULIE BLOCK is a seasoned costume designer in Hollywood having honed her skills on over 50 different productions throughout her career. As a Los Angeles native, Julie grew up in the San Fernando Valley and graduated from UCLA with a degree in Psychology. Julie has held a myriad of integral roles within numerous organizations including P.S.Arts, Planned Parenthood, Hollywood Food Coalition, and PHASE ONE. Ten years ago, Julie’s middle daughter Charlotte was diagnosed with Synovial Cell Sarcoma. Watching her daughter’s relentless fight against all odds gave her hope in the fight for cancer. Julie is devoted to raising awareness and furthering the development of treatments to cure cancer.
Julie currently lives in Westwood with her husband Stephen. She has 3 daughters. Lily Rose lives in NYC and works for a talent management company specializing in the digital creator economy. Charlotte is a graduate student at Pepperdine University studying to get her degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. She is also on the PHASE ONE Junior Board committed to raising funds to eradicate cancer. Ruby is at USC in the Thornton Music School studying music business. Stephen is the owner of Inner Gardens, a nationally recognized landscape design firm.
