Mark Freeman

MARK FREEMAN is a Native Southern Californian. Graduated from North Hollywood High and Cal State Northridge

Mark joined his family Beauty Business, Freeman Cosmetics in 1985. Mark stepped from Domestic Sales to International Sales and then to President up to the sale of the company to the DIAL Corporation in 1998. Freeman Cosmetics was a mass marketer of beauty products sold in the US and 57 countries around the world.

Mark was a founding member of the first national retail chain of better beauty supplies called PUREBeauty. PUREBeauty was acquired by a private equity group in 2002.

in 2003 the Freeman’s reacquired Freeman Cosmetics and shortly partnered with a private equity company. Mark then stepped into the fashion world developing with his wife the beach inspired SEATON apparel brand. Seaton was quickly picked up in major department stores and specialty boutiques throughout the US.

Mark partnered with his childhood friend to launch GoodFree Development Partners, specializing in single family residential new and redevelopment projects. GoodFree continues to develop high end properties on the Westside of Los Angeles.

In late 2013, by mistake, Mark was helping a friend who is a beauty products distributor based in Korea when his newest venture BeautyMark.International (BMI) was created. BeautyMark.International is focused on creating consumer friendly beauty care and lifestyle products. Developed using the highest quality ingredients, the latest scientific technologies, innovative proprietary essences, and unique story-telling packaging.

Mark is passionate about finding a cure to cancer. In 1984 when Mark was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoma, his family decided that after Mark was well they would give back. The Freeman family created FACTT, Freeman Aces Cancer Tennis Tournament. The annual social charity tennis event ran for 11 years raising both significant amounts of money and great awareness for cancer research and the Norris Cancer Center at USC. Mark immediately jumped on board when Stacy and Alberto Valner launched PHASE ONE.
